Chris Oxendine

Overview

Chris Oxendine is a Hawaii real estate developer and general contractor, and the founder and principal of Masterpiece Construction & Development, a design-build and development firm established in 2010.

Oxendine's work spans the full development cycle: land acquisition and entitlement, design, construction, and sale. Under his direction the firm builds custom and luxury residences, develops residential subdivisions and multifamily communities, and takes on land development and specialty projects across Oahu, the Big Island and Maui, with development activity on the U.S. mainland.

He has more than 20 years of residential and development experience on Oahu. Much of that came through large-scale work for Hawaii's privatized military housing operators, where Masterpiece served as a select general contractor to Hunt Companies, Lendlease and ForestCity/Northstar across portfolios totaling more than 20,000 homes.

1. 2010 – present
   Masterpiece Construction & Development — Founder, Managing Member & Principal

   Directs design-build, general contracting and development operations. Leads residential new construction, development management and multifamily pursuits; holds Hawaii contractor license CT-32126 and federal SAM registration for USACE and NAVFAC work.

2. 2017 – 2023
   Hunt Companies, Hawaii — Select General Contractor

   One of a small group of general contractors maintaining more than 7,000 privatized military housing units in Hawaii, including capital improvement work.

3. 2019 – 2021
   Lendlease / Island Palm Communities — Select General Contractor

   Maintenance and capital projects across a portfolio of more than 10,000 housing units.

4. 2014 – 2019
   Hainan Jinshi Development / Golden Lion Group — Contractor & Consultant

   Construction consulting, international material sourcing, logistics and constructability for a real estate developer's projects.

5. 2014 – 2017
   Northstar Group Holdings / ForestCity — Top-Tier General Contractor

   Key contractor across 6,700 military homes in Hawaii, specializing in disaster recovery — flood, mold and fire remediation — and concurrent multiphase operations.
